My wife is ready to part with her Barbie Ken and Midge collection. These are used and all are vintage. We are not experts, but will try to list the items as we know of them. They have been played with and due to age are not pristine, but it is a large collection.
Barbie - this is a #3 blonde ponytail barbie - markings on right buttock show Barbie TM pat pending MCMLVIII by MATTEL Inc. JAPAN on right foot. Her legs seem to have a darker tan(uneven) than the rest of her.
Midge - This is a straight leg, titian hair Midge with freckles. On her right buttocks it reads Midge TM 1962 Barbie 1958 by Mattel Inc. Also her legs seem darker than her body
Ken - This is a straight leg Ken - On his right Buttocks, it reads Ken TM Pats Pend MCMLX by Mattel Inc. - Kens hair has some alopecia ariata (balding) on back of head.
Boxes - There is an original Midge box, and a the Barbie box is for a brunette (her friend and her got their boxes mixed up when they played together)
There is one stand for barbie and two Barbie and Ken fashion booklets.
Outfits included are Barbies black and white swimsuit, nightie negligee set with puppie, evening spendour dress jacket and headband, Friday night date outfit, floral petticoat with panties and mirror,
winter holiday with bag and mittens, sweater girl outfit with bowl of yarn, enchanted evening (a few holes in dress) with fur stole and necklace, silken flame, sheath sensation, solo in the spotlight (only one glove and microphone off stand), bathing suit with cork shoes, dress with apron and cooking utensils, and several more assorted outfits not listed in fashion book.
Ken's outfits include tuxedo, sport shorts, campus hero, casuals, time for tennis with racket and sunglasses, sleeper set and some others not in fashion guides.
On both Barbie and Ken's outfits, some smaller items were lost during play. Some of the clothes have stains or age marks, but we did not attempt to clean them because we were not sure how. There are multiple shoes and other items - see pictures
There is also a black vinyl travel case (see pictures) that reads TM Lic by Mattel Inc 1961 also says ponytail in script.
